Introducing MyCar, the all-electric city car that’s set to take the British International Motor Show by storm at its global debut (Nice stand).
MyCar is a two-seater designed by Giugiaro of Italdesign , made in Hong Kong and on sale through the NICE Car Company in London come Autumn.
MyCar comes loaded
with electric windows and mirrors, Radio/MP3 player, 14” Alloy wheels, remote central locking, Hi/lo and boost button and LCD multifunction display. It also has storage space under the bonnet, in the boot and in the glove compartment along with a two year warranty.
Thers will be an option of glass roof or removable fibreglass version. MyCar can also be specified with 15” Alloy wheels, leather interior, cooled and heated seats and a boot rack (option prices are to be confirmed).
The MyCar price starts at 8,995 pounds and will be be available in seven dazzling colors. Running costs are as low as one fifteenth of conventional models (approx. 2p per mile) and takes 6 to 8 hours to recharge.
Emits no emissions and attracts no road tax (since no Co2 emission), it will also be exempted from congestion charges and parking concessions are available in many London boroughs1 and in other parts of the UK. More on-street charging points will further increase its appeal.
MyCar is made of fibreglass reinforced plastic on a steel tubular space frame with tubular roll-bar and touches the top speed of 40 mph, good enough for most of urban motoring. It is powered with disc brakes and independent front and rear suspension.
And that’s not all it comes with two innovative features that are work ‘n’ play and drive ‘n’ play options. The first incorporates a forward-folding passenger seat complete with laptop dock, the latter includes Bluetooth, satellite -navigation and upgraded audio.

Well it seems, all my dreams come true and it’s difficult to wait for this sexy car till autumn when it will hit the road.
