India is slowly and steadily strengthening its position on world map due to its expertise in engineering and operational excellence.
Earlier it was Tata Nano announced to be sold for $2500, which was nothing less than engineering miracle and now makers of electric scooters and bikes under the Oreva brand, (Ajanta group of India) is all set to roll out its first e-car.

Mr. Rakesh Nathwani, National Marketing Head of Oreva Group said that the car would be able to run up to 200-250 kilometers in one time charge. Sources expect the car to be priced around Rs. 85000 ($2200) which is lesser than Tata Nano.
Oreva will be manufactured in the existing facility of e-bikes based at Gujarat which is also new home to Tata Nano. It seems environment of competition for much awaited Nano have started building up and this war will definitely be played on operational excellence.
